Davis voted to pass H.R. 1644, the Save the Internet Act, to restore popular, bipartisan net neutrality protections for consumers and small businesses after the Trump Administration ended these vital protections in a brazen, partisan attack last year. The Save the Internet Act passed the House by a vote of 232-190.

“Just last week, the House voted overwhelmingly to make the Mueller report public. Now that the report has been submitted to the Attorney General, the full report must be given to Congress and made public for the American people to review,” said Congressman Davis. “We now know that Russian aggression displayed during the election directly targeted the African American Community. I want to be hopeful that the Attorney General will show his allegiance to the American people now that he is sworn in, but I am very concerned. This will be a historic test for him.

Today, Rep. Davis joined nearly 240 other Members of Congress in proudly introducing the Equality Act of 2019. This historic legislation says, unequivocally, that LGBTQ Americans deserve the full protections guaranteed by the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Equality Act extends anti-discrimination protections to LGBTQ Americans with regard to employment, education, access to credit, jury service, federal funding, housing, and public accommodations.
