Today, April 1, 2020 is census day, but even if you are reading this sometime after April 1, 2020 it's not too late to fill out your census. If you got a form in the mail you can go on-line and fill it out in less than 10 minutes. If you do not have access to the Internet or if you did not get a census form in the mail you can fill out your census form for free by phone!
The 2020 Census can be completed by phone in the following languages. Phone lines are open every day from 7am to 2am Eastern Time.

On Friday, March 20th, Governor Pritzker issued Executive Order 2020-10 requiring all Illinoisans to stay in their homes to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. The order prohibits things like visiting the homes of friends and holding gatherings of any size and closes all nonessential establishments, including most retail, recreation and entertainment businesses. It does NOT prohibit essential activities like going to the grocery store, receiving medical care, or taking your pet for a walk.
