Many have labeled it “Robin Hood in Reverse” but that would only be a fitting description if the Sherif of Nottingham went after Robin and the people of Sherwood Forest, who only had sticks and a few bows and arrows to defend themselves, with automatic weapons and helicopter gun ships.

President Trump issued a new executive order on immigration and refugees today. It was released with no public ceremony which is entirely appropriate. There is nothing to celebrate here.

We now know that during his confirmation hearings before his colleagues in the Senate Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath to very specific questions about his communications with Russian officials and that he had, not one but at least two, private meetings with the Russian Ambassador to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak.

President Trump outlined his budget for the Congress and the American people last night. While the extreme rhetoric has been scaled back the audacity of the proposed cuts to basic services have not been scaled back and are enough to take ones breath away. Even leading Republicans declared the budget plan “dead on arrival”. Here are some of the highlights (or lowlights):
