Today, Representative Davis voted to finalize $14,335,783 in Community Project Funding that he previously secured for Illinois’s 7th District in the 2024 spending bills. This funding, included in the first of the appropriations government funding packages, responds directly to some of the most pressing needs in Austin, Bellwood, Bronzeville, Chicago, East Garfield Park, Englewood, Maywood, Oak Park, South Austin, West Garfield Park, and West Humboldt Park. “I am incredibly pleased to vote for $14,335,783 in Community Project Funding in this bill that I know will have a profound impact on Illinois’s 7th District,” Rep. Davis said. “These investments grow our economy, making a real difference in the lives of so many in our community.
