McDonald's has currently introduced a new multi-year effort in the fight for adequate nutrition and the proper education of its menu offerings nationwide. Several weeks ago Rep. Davis participated in a health summit focused on wellness, prevention, treatment and healthy outcomes.

Rep. Davis stated, "We all understand how important it is that parents and children have healthy options, and I appreciate McDonald's leading the way to ensure those options are available to all of our communities. In the tough economic times, it is good for access to affordable food options; but more importantly, healthy alternatives that are easily accessible."
