Davis Receives a Lifetime Achievement Award for His Steadfast Support of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program

The Board of Parents as Teachers (https://parentsasteachers.org/) will present Rep. Danny K. Davis a lifetime achievement award for his steadfast support of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV) which provides pregnant women and families, particularly those considered at-risk, necessary resources and skills to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy and ready to learn. In the most recent fiscal year Chicago was funded $8,744,850.

The reception will be held in United States Capitol Visitors' Center Room SVC 208-209 on February 27th from 5:30-7:30.
