WASHINGTON, DC (DECEMBER 12, 2012) - CONGRESSMAN DANNY K. DAVIS WILL SERVE ON POWERFUL WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE IN THE 113TH CONGRESS - THANKS LEADER PELOSI AND DEM CAUCUS
WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Danny K. Davis (IL-07) will return to the Ways and Means Committee in the 113th Congress. Rep. Davis stated, "Given the fact that our country is facing a myriad of challenges relating to taxation and finding ways to generate the revenue that is needed to operate our government, I am indeed pleased to be reappointed to this very powerful and strategic committee.
Davis continued, In addition, with Chicago being one of the largest cities in the nation and a great center of commerce and industry, major banking interest, the trading floors, manufacturing and a great base for healthcare and higher education; it provides me with a great opportunity to be actively engaged and involved in all of these issues.
