What:
Over 100 Principals, Counselors, and Educators along with Ministers and representatives from local hospitals will join Congressman Danny K. Davis to convene a symposium to discuss Student Trauma. Principals will be provided with tools to address the condition of trauma and to create trauma-sensitive schools. In addition, counselors and educators will learn how to effectively identify student trauma and develop best practices while dealing with crime and COVID.
