CONGRESSMAN DANNY K. DAVIS, COMMUNITY, ACTIVISTS AND CLERGY ANNOUNCES INTRODUCTION OF THE BAIL REFORM ACT OF 2018

CHICAGO, IL - Congressman Danny K. Davis introduced H.R.4833, the Bail Fairness Act of 2018, which is designed to encourage the states to replace unfair money-bail procedures with diversion programs in the case of first-time, nonviolent, low-level offenders.
